M & Ms Children's Program
WHEN? Every Wednesday night 6:30 to 7:30 PM ,
beginning in September 2010
and running through May 2011
FOR? ALL children 4 years to 5th Grade
About our Program:
Through a variety of games, stories and crafts, the kids will get to learn about the stories of Jesus during the Fall semester. Each time we meet, there will be an opportunity for the kids to get to know one another as well as Pastor Jason and the adult volunteers. We gather to learn about God, to learn about ourselves and others and about how all those go together. We also gather to hear from each other how the week is going. All across the age groups, the kids hear stories from each other and this gives the leaders wonderful opportunities to help the lesson connect with their lives.
The program is divided into lessons. Each lesson has an opening story, an activity and a craft. Through repetition and encouragement, the kids will learn about the stories of Jesus and understand how they apply to us today.
On occasion, we may take a break and get "out of the box" with a special day of fun. From silly games in the park or field to a special movie night in the sanctuary, our out-of-the-box activity will be sure to keep the kids excited.
