First United Methodist Church of Princeton, TX is a warm and inviting body of...real people

While the walls on the outside may seem weather-worn and tired, what you find inside these doors is energy, passion and acceptance.  The world is full of places for us to go to just be entertained.  It's full of places where we find ourselves being judged.

But inside these doors, you will find a worship service full of reverence, full of laughter, full of peace and hope.

Inside these doors, you will find a group of people who, like you, just experienced a long and stressful week.  Their backs are tired, their minds are full, and their hearts long for this day each week to once again get filled.   They long for this day when they can be around people who simply accept them and love them for who they are today.  They love to get around these people who remind them that there is more to life than going to work and paying the bills.

This is a church with a rich and historical story; they were the first church established in Princeton in 1895.  While the building itself is not that old, the stories and even pictures can be seen around town of those days.

While many in the church could tell you of its long history, you may find that many are more excited to tell you about the future of this church!

We hope that you will be a part of that future.  You are welcome to join us any time.  We would love to see you in Sunday worship or at a week-day activity sometime soon!
